The tips you've shared are fantastic — I didn't realise that tomato slices needed to be oiled and salted in a bowl before placing on the sheet. And who knew that you needed to rub your basil in the tomato juice! Wow.
I guess that's the great thing about Italian cooking, it seems super simple, but there's actually a lot to it. Almost always involving incredible produce (how red are those tomatoes you photographed!??).
